After going to the beach so many times this summer I had to take some video's and photo's to share with you.
This is at the Herzelia beach just by the marina.
Shai just loves the water and you can see how she enjoys to play with the waves that are coming at her.

Shai is just 1.8 years old and this is the first day of the kindergarten.
She just loves her new pink bag and would not take no for an answer when she asked to carry it.

Yesterday a friend called Dalia (the neighborhood vet) and told her she found a baby hedgehog on her door step.
Dalia ran to the rescue and saw this very small and very scared hedgehog.
We called him 'Shmulik', after the kids video 'Shmulik the hedgehog' (שמולק קיפוד).
Shmulik is about 10cm long and weighs about 46g.
View some more pictures of Shmulik
Last night Dalia fed Shmulik and gave him a hot water bottle to sleep on and he seems much better.

This morning Shai walked into our dressing closet, just like any other morning and closed the door behind her for her hide-and-seek game. Usualy it ends up with her starting to call for us to open the door for her.
Suddenly Dalia sees the door nob move downwards, and voila, Shai steps out!!
So I had to step in (with my camera) and see how it happens.

I've been using the Google Personal Home and I love the themes they added not so long ago.
After a few days of usage I noticed that the Google Theme has a problem with displaying the correct local time. e.g.: It was 10PM and dark out side, and the theme would show the sun at 4pm over the beach theme :).
I felt it has missing the point and I started looking for a solution.
The best one I found on the web is this script for FireFox that fixes the CSS of the theme without you doing anything. The script gets the current time from your local PC clock and set the correct theme image when loading.
All you need to do is install it. No configuration or setting.
If you don't use FireFox, thats a different matter.
Maybe it's time to convert and start using FireFox.
What you need to do:
1. Install Greasemonkey . It is a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way webpages look and function and lets you add code to existing web pages.
(Install the addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748)
2. Install the Google Theme Time Fix. It fixes a bug in the Google personalized home page theme system by updating the css href based on your current system time.
(Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/8284.user.js)

Dalia asked Shai to give her back a spoon she took.
Shai, besides nodding with her head shouted "NO"
PS: Shai is 1.3 years and 3 weeks old

WOW,
Today Dalia talked me into buying a new Weber BBQ.
I can tell you I did not give her a strong fight before getting it.
We talked about it and she convinced me that it is for my birthday (March 20'th) but it really does not matter. We both wanted it and not the cheaper brand even though they will do the same job.
HOOO YAAA... we got ourselves a new Weber gas grill :)

We where in the Club-Med in Chamonix for a Rosenbaum family ski vacation between 18-25 of March, 2007.
Rachel and Ralph where the baby-sitting service for the week and the young parents did most of the skiing.
We all had a very good time and enjoyed the good foods in France.

Just had my 36 (WOoooW) birthday while on our family ski vacation in Chamonix club med in France. I can't complain on the surrounding for a birthday.
Dalia got me an excellent massage in the club med spa and freed me from 'Shai duties' so I can relax and enjoy.
In the evening, while we where sitting eating dinner, the club med GO's came signing "happy birthday to Alex ...." in the dining room and 100 of the guest started signing with them. I got a nice decorated cake and a lot of kisses from all the GO girls :)
Later that week the GO manager gave out presents to all the birthday boys and girls of that week. That was nice, nothing big.
